I,ve been doing a monthly Editor's Column illustration for Orange Coast Magazine for a couple years now. Great clients. Marty, the editor is a good sport and lets me poke a little visual fun at him and whatever the focus of the column is.

New Metalworks editorial illos for Research Magazine

Couple full page illos from recent Research Magazine articles. Research is one of the few magazines that's been able to figure out that Metalworks can work for editorial projects.

Spoke Art work...

Several pieces I did for last years Spoke Art show titled "Bad Dads: A Tribute to Wes Anderson". The "stuffed" Javelina Boar's head got me started down the path to create a variety of different animal heads in the Metalworks style.

Milken Review metalworks illos...

I tried something a little different for these, and I'm both excited and a bit disappointed at the same time. I played much more with mostly metal textures, rather than metal objects, and found some nice things happening. The weak part of these is the characters. I want to work on the people and make the faces more interesting. Not liking them as they are right now.
